Snowy Days and Holidays!

Snowy Days...

Please be reminded school closures are extremely rare when we experience a snowstorm. Richmond Schools will remain open unless the district determines its best to close schools. It would take a significant snowfall and extremeconditions for the Superintendent of Schools to issue a closure of Richmond Schools.  Should our Superintendent decide to close schools in our district, it will be publicized on district and school websites (https://www.sd38.bc.ca/pages-emergency-school-closures.aspx and [http://www.blair.sd38.bc.ca)]www.blair.sd38.bc.ca) and through social media on district and school Twitter accounts (@Richmondsd38 and @blairdragons) by 6:30am. As well, it will be announced on the radio (AM 730, 980, 1130 or FM 88.1). Remember, if there is no info, the school is considered open.  If you are driving your child(ren) to school, please allow extra time and be careful!

Our last two days...
There is a Sharing Assembly/ Sing-a-long on Thursday Dec. 21 at 1:30 pm.  Everyone is welcome.
The PAC meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 21 has been cancelled
We are excited to have the Breakfast with Santa before school on Friday, Dec. 22.  A big thank you to our PAC for organizing!
