Summer Reading List from Mr. Weil
Mr. Weil believes it is important to constantly read children’s and young adult literature, so that he can recommend good books and authors to his students. He also keeps journals in which he record and rate the books he has read.
This annotated list, shared by Mr. Weil, is meant to encourage readers to challenge themselves a bit more and to encounter characters and issues that will make readers think a bit about the world and their place in it!
He also suggests that libraries, book store websites, and author websites are good sources of information. So is www.goodreads.com. One great destination for a summer staycation Vancouver Kidsbooks on Broadway in Vancouver (https://www.kidsbooks.ca). Maybe you will find Mr. Weil at Rain or Shine Ice Cream on West 4th Avenue or at the beautiful beaches in Vancouver such as Locarno Beach and Spanish Banks after one of his frequest trips to Kidsbooks!
See the attachments for his SUMMER 2020 READING LIST!
Thank you Mr. Weil for sharing!
