Parent Weekly Communication - December 18, 2020
The COVID pandemic has been the curveball of 2020, causing sudden changes that many of us could never have imagined. We have experienced border closures and travel restrictions, remote learning and working, and the uncertainty within our communities.
- What did we learn from the Year of 2020?
- What challenges and opportunities have we experienced that enable us to grow and prepare for 2021?
I have been inspired by our staff’s commitment to equity, their passion for inquiry and their dedication to ensure that every young learner at Blair (at home or at school) has care, dignity, purpose and options. They have created a sense of safety and belonging, and maintained a focus on quality learning through the past months. It has taken an enormous effort. I am humbled and grateful.
I hope that whatever your plans are for the holidays, that you build in time for yourself – to have some fun, to enjoy some quiet moments and to reflect on all that you have done to help your child, your families.
