During a recent Family Teams activity, our students met in multi-age teams to discuss and represent their thinking around the following question:  “How might you use your words and actions to show care for each other?”  They used loose parts to represent their thinking and then they shared out to their whole team.  

This connects to our school goal because students connect their identity to belonging to our community.  It is important to intentionally build a strong, safe community where all individuals know how to to show care.  This is how we build trust and belonging.
