During the first term teachers spent time observing their students in various settings and completed Social and Emotional Classroom Snapshots to use as data to inform them of the SEL skills and strategies that their students' are requiring further support in developing. The snapshot is focussed on the CASEL Competencies: Self- Awareness, Self Management, Responsible Decision Making, Relationship Skills, and Social Awareness.

It is evident that are primary classes have needs in the areas of Self- Awareness, Self Management, and Responsible Decision Making. Our Intermediate classes require further support in the areas of Self-Awareness, Responsible Decision Making and Social Awareness.
